Water consumption per person per day

Water consumption per person per day. In India we take it as 200 liter per person per day.Accordingly for a family of five persons you need 1000 liters of water per day.

CAN RO REJECT WATER BE TREATED

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW VARIOUS USES OF RO REJECT WATER EITHER INSTALLED AT HOME OR AT INDUSTRY & CAN RO REJECT WATER BE TREATED AS IT CONTAINS HIGH TDS VALUE & CAN IT BE USED FOR ANY APPLICATION.

RO reject having high TDS (around 40000-50000) is usually fed to evaporator. hence, only salt is removed from the evaporator. But the cost of constructing an evaporator is very high and if the TDS is lower (around 5000-10000) it can be used in industries for quenching or spraying on raw materials to reduce dust.

Usually RO reject from domestic applications will be under the limit for usage in secondary applications. The same can be used for gardening, toilet flush floor wash etc.
From industrial RO systems the usage/recycle/disposal depends purely upon the quality of RO reject stream.
TDS levels under 1500 - 2000 mg/l can be used again for equipment wash, floor wash etc.
Apart from this usually the reject stream is treated in a waste water treatment unit/Evaporator/Solar pond.

The TDS of reject from RO water will be around 2.5 to 3 times the feed TDS In case of domestic RO and > 4 times in Industrial RO system. As a common use of domestic water which may range from 400 -700 ppm for river water and more in Borewell water. so approximately we may happen to get reject water of 2000 ppm range which can be disposed onland and for irrigation/ gardening .The Prescribed limit of CPCB says it should be within 2100ppm for Gardening. so household RO system rejects can be used for gardening. If it is exceeding in the TDS try to dilute it with fresh water of 20 : 80 ratio or accordingly to suit the TDS level.

A DISEASE FREE LIFE JUST BY DRINKING WATER:

ONE GLASS OF LUKEWARM WATER First Thing In The Morning On An Empty Stomach :
The first 3-7 days of Water Therapy could cause some trouble. You might suffer headaches and body-aches, as well as feel your head swimming. Sweating, nausea and loose-motions could also form parts of the ’symptoms’. If not all these, you might definitely experience a certain sort of uneasiness. The thing to keep in mind is that these are not harmful ‘after-effects’ of Water Therapy. These symptoms merely serve to testify that the body is getting rid of all the toxic elements trapped within its cells. Since these are not signs of harmful after-effects of Water Therapy, the therapy ought to be continued despite them. If necessary, the quantity of water drunk every morning could be decreased to a bearable extent. After a couple of weeks, when these disturbing ’symptoms’ subside, the water intake can be increased to its stipulated level.

Calculation of waste water discharge in an animal slaughter house

Calculation of waste water discharge in an animal slaughter house  http://www.waterandwastewater.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1142244578

Water usage at plants such as this tend to be affected by the attitudes of both the in-house operators and the local veterinary inspectors to water usage and conervation. My experience of typical "normal" unit loads, (european experience), that can be achieved at a well run slaugher facility are set out below:
Cattle: 0.9 m3 /head and 3.5 kg BOD /head. (This includes an allowance for washing of livestock pens, and delivery vehicles, running / recovery of casings and edible fat, normal slaughtering aspects, very good blood collection, but excludes any allowances for cooking of cuts, pressing of paunch or belly grass materials, or for other value added processing).

Pigs: 0.5 m3/head, and 0.6 kg BOD per head. (This also includes an allowance for washing of livestock pens, and delivery vehicles, running / recovery of casings, normal slaughtering aspects, very good blood collection, but excludes any allowances for cooking, curing, or other valued processing).

Sheep: 0.08m3/head and 0.35 kg BOD per head processed.
(This too includes an allowance for washing of livestock pens, and delivery vehicles, running / recovery of casings, normal slaughtering aspects, very good blood collection, but excludes any allowances for cooking or other value added processing).

How not to mismanage constipation

Source: http://herbsforever.org/2012/04/mismanage-constipation/

Good and health digestion consist of two vital factors: appropriate assimilation of the dietary nutrients and regular elimination of the waste product from the body. Transportation of stool in the body again takes place in two phases — forward motions activity of the colon and expulsion of feces from the rectum. Constipation in caused when any of these aspects is interfered with, resulting in the failure of eliminating stools regularly and satisfactorily.

1.  Ayurveda advises everybody to get up at dawn and first of all drink a glass of water which is kept overnight in a copper vessel.

2. All able-bodies persons should go out for at least 30 minutes of walk everyday,

3. One cup OATS every morning for breakfast.

4. The consumption of bulk and roughage-producing food which is at the same time easily digestible is the first dietary improvement a patient of constipation should adopt.
Wholegrain ‘atta’, leafly vegetables, unpolished lentils and moderate use of lubricants like milk and butter facilitate proper formation and passing out of the stools. Kitchen spices should be used in a balanced way so that these should only help proper digestion and not cause acidity.

5. Atleast two - three liters of water in a day.
Heavy and fried food items like those made of ‘maida’ such as bread and ‘naan’ and junk and fast food are slow to digest. Similarly, fruits like apple, pomegranate and unripe banana and grains like polished rice also cause constipation to a majority of patients.

6. Dinner atleast two hours before sleep time.

Making money online
Get into the GIG league
Abhishek Joshi

Are you looking for ways to supplement your current income?

Have you been feeling that earning money online could be your thing, but don't know how to go about it?

Have you been sitting on the fence letting apprehensions like Internet fraud grow on you?

Would you love to market your skills online in the global marketplace?

Or are you looking for a fun way to earn some extra dough in your spare time?

If your answer to any of the above questions is "yes", then numerous microjob sites giving you an opportunity to do "gigs" at fixed prices could be just what you've been looking for.

What is it all about?

Simply put, there are websites where people share things they are willing to do for a fixed price tag that could range from $2 to $50 or even more. People list gigs ranging from writing articles, designing website headers, setting up a website and writing a resume to making someone laugh, drawing a caricature or giving expert advice.

How does it work?

You create a gig for a small service you are willing to offer; you share the gig with the world. Every time your gig is ordered and after you successfully complete an order, depending on the website's terms and conditions and after they deduct their cut from the amount the buyer has paid, you could withdraw your earnings through an online payment processor like Paypal (You could sign up for a free Paypal account at Paypal.com).

What gigs can you offer?

Your gig could be in line with your professional expertise or hobby. Or anything else that is worthwhile. Check out other people's gigs for ideas.

You might like to come up with gigs that give you a good return on your time and/or money investment.

And do bear in mind that your gig could be your gateway to a long haul, to getting your gig featured prominently on the website. Make sure you complete your gig within the timeline you've set. Add to it a dash of quality work, and you could soon be having a steady stream of positive feedback for your work which shows up in the testimonials accompanying your gig.

In fact, many sellers make it a point to go the extra mile to attend to their customers' additional requests and avoid negative feedback. After all, avoiding the negatives is as important as getting the positives.

Promoting your gig

Let's face it — The micro jobs websites make for a huge marketplace. To make it worth your while, you've got to make your gig stand out. Which "tags" or keywords to use while creating your gig? For a cue, you could have a look at the existing popular gigs in your niche.

When you create your gig, you could add to the gig's description a link pointing to your personal blog. The blog could, in turn, be having your work samples. And you could take advantage of social networking websites, video-sharing websites like YouTube and online forums pertaining to your niche (Clueless? Think google) which allow you to put in a link you wish to promote, in your signature, to get the word out about your gig.

Building on it

Once you've set the ball rolling, sky's the limit. Even if the gig doesn't draw a good response, build on the lessons you learn along the way and you'll find yourself going from strength to strength. Who knows, you might hit upon a goldmine of ideas for gigs, or a big project from a client impressed with your service.

What is a gig?

A gig is a job, especially a temporary one.

On microjob sites, gigs are small tasks that people can do for a fee. These tasks could relate to writing, social networking, search engine optimisation or even programming.

Cough and Cold Herbal Remedies

Cough and Cold Remedies

Try some of these recipes for homemade cough and cold remedies:
Ginger Tea
  • 1 inch or so fresh ginger root, sliced thin or grated
  • 1/2 a fresh lemon, sliced (peel & all)
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • ~2 c water
  • Very generous spoonful honey

Place water, ginger, lemon, & garlic in saucepan; bring to boil, then turn down heat and simmer gently for 20 min. Strain into mugs and add lots of honey. The tea *will* get stronger if you let it sit! Most invigorating!

The garlic adds a bit of bitterness, but the honey masks that. This tea is very soothing to the throat and warms and opens the chest and nasal passages. Plus there are all those vitamins and other good things! I now make this tea at the first sign of a cold, which helps me fight it off. I find it more effective than the commercial hot lemon remedies, and of course cheaper

Other Tips for curing Cough and Cold

1. Take 100 gm mamra badam giri ( sweat almonds), 100 gm sugar or bura , 50 gm black peepers ( kali mirch) grinding it until it convert in to powder . Sieve it and store in a dry container. Take this churna 1 teaspoonful at night with milk.( this formula is told by baba ramdev in their camps)
2. Take hamdard-sharbat unnab (a unani medicine for cough and cold) 2-2 teaspoonful after food twice daily.

how to make friends on facebook

1. ADD GIRLS YOU THINK ARE CUTE
Spend a couple of hours per week, adding 5 to 10 girls you think are cute or really hot as a friend. Write an intriguing opening line in the “add message” box that pops up.
If you can’t think of anything funny or intriguing to say, just forget the message and add her as a friend anyway. Make sure your photos are up to date – Keep them fresh, like within the last couple of months .No nude girl photos in your album.

2. GET FAMILIAR WITH HER PAGE
Spend 15 minutes skimming through her about page, interests, past wall posts in her timeline and photos. Just get a good understanding of who she is, what she’s about and how she interacts with her friends. This will give you a better overview of her.
3. COMMENT ON NEW PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND STATUS UPDATES
When she posts a new photo, video or status update that you like, comment on it with a funny or positive message. Keep doing this for about 3 weeks, so she becomes familiar with you. Always post a funny comment or don’t post anything at all. Women like funny guys but if you’re always trying to be funny, it can wear thin pretty quickly. So use the funny lines every so often
4. SEND THE FIRST MESSAGE
After you’ve posted a few comments and liked her status updates, photos, videos etc, go ahead and message her to get the ball rolling.
Keep it brief, ask her opinion on something, so that she will likely respond. Women just can’t resist offering advice, it’s like breathing for them.If she responds to every message, it means she like you… so keep it up. Each message should be short and sweet, but you should be trying to connect with her. Try to really understand what she lives for, how she feels, and who she really is. Go with that goal and your conversations will be more interesting and connected.
