ACV and Kidney disease
There is only limited
evidence to suggest apple cider vinegar can help kidney problems, and you
should see a doctor before utilizing it as a treatment. According to Katherine Zeratsky, R.N.,
L.D., of the MayoClinic, drinking apple cider vinegar may burn your throat and
cause stomach problems.
Apple cider vinegar is high
in potassium and phosphorus, so kidney disease patients who have high potassium
and high phosphorus levels in blood need to avoid the intake of the drinks.
Because both high potassium and high phosphorus levels in blood will be harmful
for kidney disease patients.
Most chronic kidney diseases
are not reversible. But, there are treatments that may be used to help preserve
as much kidney function as possible. In the cases of acute renal failure ,
treatment focuses on the illness or injury that caused the problem.

Though apple cider vinegar
has so many benefits, it does not mean you can eat at random. Too much intake
of apple cider vinegar may increase burden on your kidneys.
Why does meat cause a problem?
Meat is very difficult for
humans to digest, and not designed to eat excessive quantities of meat.
Some quality meat is fine, like one small portion daily. Meat is extremely
high in uric acid. ALL uric acid goes to the kidneys for
processing. If there is more uric acid than the kidneys can process, the
uric acid concentrates in the blood, depositing in areas of low circulation
(toes, feet, fingers, etc.) Excessive uric acid forms crystals that are
sharp as knives and cause major debilitating pain in many people.
How do I heal my kidneys?
1. Water and
Minerals
This cannot be possible
stressed enough. All other liquids dehydrate you and cause a burden on
your kidneys. The most damaging liquids on your kidneys in order are the
following: soda, anything else carbonated, beer, other alcohol, energy
drinks, coffee and dairy milk.
How do I know if I am hydrated?
Your urine should be a pale
yellow, very light in color. If dark yellow or even orange colored, you
are severely dehydrated. If you are thirsty, you are already
dehydrated. You should drink water throughout the day and drink quality
LIVING water with the proper mineral balances.
2. Avoid Cold drinks, sugar,
caffeine, excessive meat and soy
Sugar upsets the mineral
balance between calcium and magnesium. Now children ages 5 and 6 years
old are getting kidney stones when this was unheard of at any other time in
history. The combination of children eating too much sugar and not
drinking water is the result.
3. Exercise
When sedentary the bones
release more calcium which can lead to increased stone formation. Good
circulation is critical to proper fluid ratio and balance in the body.
4. Herbs
There are many amazing herbs
that heal the kidneys such as stinging nettles, chanca piedra (stone breaker),
hydrangea, stone root, juniper berries, gravel root, corn silk and uva ursi.
5. Other
supplements
Magnesium and MSM are also very
beneficial
6. Foods
Vegetables, specifically
radishes! Radish, Cauliflower, Apples, grapes and WATERMELON! Watermelon seed
tea is amazing for the kidneys. Apple cider vinegar!
