Environment is on the political agenda now., is it really so?

has environment become a legitimate tool in the hands of the political class to play its daily games?

There is minimal staff of pollution boards on the ground to really monitor whether the projects are following the preconditions with which the green clearances came. And there is enough corruption and collusion at the field level to allow projects to skirt rules.
