DEWATS AND BUGSY--A Comparision

1. We have installed similar Units in 2007 at Mcdonald,Karnal and recently at Brahmashakti Hospital,New Delhi.(2009). Both are working well

2. We use rotary air blower inplace of Diaphragm Air Pump

3.We use EM bacterial Culture in place of BUGSY solution for growing aerobic bacteria.But the basic thing is that you dont need any extra bacteria atall in a sewage treatment plant(STP).So we discontinued the uneccesary use of EM solution.

4.BUGSY is a clever person whereas we have not given any name to the Air Column in a PVC pipe(30 cm dia) with a diffuser nozzle and floating media inside.

5.This method is called DEWATS also which is very popular in south India.

6.He is actually selling one Air Column by the name Bugsy system and a bactaria Culture, and fitting it inside existing Septic Tanks. Thats all. But still its a brilliant idea.
