Really Cool and Fast !
I used win7 ultimate for a couple of months, its really cool and fast. I used windows 2008 before, and after I changed to windows 7, everything changes. -

Windows 7 is clean, simple and easy to use. its everything vista should have been! while running vista on my laptop i constantly recieved runtime errors, no more thanks to windows 7! i have only rebooted for installations and i've had windows 7 since oct 12th!� the only problem i had while installing was the fact that i had to reinstall the drivers for my graphics card, not a huge deal as the drivers are redily avaiable on the toshiba website.

I love the snap feature with the browers, although i still find myself flicking between tabs.
windows 7 is a excellent stable operating system, much like XP but WAY better. its easy to upload photos, videos and burn cds. i was thinking about switching to mac until windows 7 came into my life, now i have no reason to switch to a more expensive machine! im loving windows 7 and i have recommened it to friends and family and will keep doing it! great job microsoft, you finally did it. its just really cool , with exciting new features ( all features work ) and yes this time for once you can actually believe all the hype surrounding the new laucnh of the operating system cus it really does was surpas anthinmg elese that i have used , many people went back to xp after vista came out because therre were just so many issues with vista , and even though windows 7 is based on the vista platfor , its nothing near vista ..vista was slow ,,soaked up a ton of memory ..and was very hard on hard drives and cpu's ..not that way at all with THE NEW WINDOWS 7 !

In any service-led business, you will always have consumers who will be happy and unhappy with your service. You have to adopt a service level that keeps your customers happy and loyal to you. This requires maturity and vision and, often, a fair amount of concessions on your part. Until you become established, you need your customers more than they need you.

Hi Saleem,
I came across your blog post where I saw you mentioning about the concept of micro-donations through SMS. I liked your idea of letting potential donors know about NGO's which are working in the area they would like to contribute in. However, I feel that though there may be lots of people who'll find this useful, but there is another completely unique idea to approach the same problem-
The recent Haiti disaster has seen a trend picking up in USA where a user who is willing to donate for a cause is charged $10 in his next billing statement on SMS'ing a certain keyword to a specific number. This earning is used as a donation towards the disaster relief.
A quick one hour research on Google showed me that nothing like this exists in India so far. What if there was a service where people could SMS something like "Donate APFloods" to 56767 (which is a premium number charged at Rs. 3/- per SMS to the sender) and whatever we earn from the message is passed as a donation to the right NGO who is working for that disaster's relief? There are plenty of Indian companies who are willing to rent out such short-codes for a very small monthly fees and will share revenue based on incoming SMS volumes.
I believe there are lots and lots of people in India who would not mind spending a small amount for donating towards a cause. If we consider the economies of scale, even a small amount (say, Rs 1.5 earned per SMS) x 50,000 SMS received would mean a whopping Rs. 75000 in collections! Of course, we can keep a certain margin to ourselves to maintain the technical infrastructure required to keep this running.
