So send Salaams from wherever you are and it will reach him faster and more reliably than via the one going for Hajj.

“HUZOOR TAK HAMARA SALAAM ZAROOR POHCHANA”
(CONVEY MY SALAAM TO PROPHET MUHAMMAD (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam))
…. This is what I was being requested by many when I was leaving for Hajj a few years back.
I’m sure many of us find ourselves either on one of the sides. Either we are the ones requesting the same to the person going for Hajj, or we are the one to whom people are requesting.
Don’t we know that anyone can send Salaams upon the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) wherever he is and that Allaah has guaranteed that this salaam will be conveyed by the Angels whom He has appointed for this task.
Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Allaah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has Angels who travel around on Earth conveying to me the Salams of my Ummah.'"
[Sunan an Nasa’I, Vol. 2, Book of Forgetfulness (In Prayer), Hadith No. 1282]
Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) also said,
“Do not make your houses graves, and do not make my grave a place of festivity. But invoke blessings on me, for your blessings reach me wherever you may be.”
[Sunan Abu Dawood, Kitab Al-Manasik Wa'l-Hajj, Hadith No. 2042]
So based on this we understand that whoever sends salaams upon the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), in any place, his salaam will reach him for sure.
The best part here is that in this case one is himself sending the Salaams personally at his leisure, from his home or his workplace, and he knows for sure that his Salaams would reach Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) for sure.
Compare this with you asking the one who is going to visit Madeenah to convey Salaams to the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), when you do not know whether he will convey it or not, or whether the person will remember or forget?
So send Salaams from wherever you are and it will reach him faster and more reliably than via the one going for Hajj.

প্রত্যেকের ভাগ্য লেখা আছে ‘লাওহে মাহফুজ’- এ। সেটাই হল মুল ভাগ্যলিপি।

Tawakkul or Fatalism
Umar Bin Khattaab (radi Allahu anhu) heard the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) saying, “If you trust Allah with the right kind of Tawakkul, He will provide you sustenance as He provides for the birds – they go out in the morning with empty stomachs and come back in the evening with full stomachs.” [Tirmidhi]
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A bird sitting in its nest, praising Allah (subhana wa ta’ala), will not have its stomach filled. It has to go out to seek food. It is only the bird that after glorifying Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) goes out and makes an effort to find food, that comes back full.
Belief in Allah's qada and qadar does not preclude action. Hazrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu) asked a group of people sitting around: “Who are you?” They replied: “We are resigned to the will of Allah and have placed our trust (made Tawakkul) in Him.” These people refused to bother with trying to earn a living using Tawakkul as an excuse. Umar (radi Allahu anhu) hit them and told them not to twist the concept of Tawakkul. He said, “You lie! Such a person is resigned to the will of Allah who sows the seed and then places his trust in Him. It is not Tawakkul to sit with idle hands. Gold and silver do not descend from the sky.”

(courtesy mukib w.a)

SORB 33 arsenic adsorption system

source: http://vertassets.blob.core.windows.net/download/37800578/37800578-9ee6-4e2c-b042-f712ab3fa5a3/arsenic-brochure.pdf
SORB 33 arsenic adsorption system
For most applications, the SORB 33 arsenic adsorption system is the simplest and most cost effective solution on the market—compared to reverse osmosis, ion
exchange, activated alumina, coagulation microfiltration and others.
In this simple pump-and-treat adsorption system, the contaminated water passes through a robust granular ferric oxide media, Bayoxide® E33, developed exclusively for Severn Trent by Bayer AG. As the water passes through the media at the wellhead, the arsenic is adsorbed and removed to a level below the drinking water standard of 10 micrograms per liter (μg/l).

What's the Secret to Startup Success? Timing.

What's the Secret to Startup Success? Timing.

Imagine a business where everything else is perfect: You have a great idea, a theoretically brilliant business model, a talented team and enough funding to get the ball rolling. But if your idea comes too early and consumers aren’t ready for it, they won’t readily adopt your system. If your idea comes too late and there are already a number of different competitors in front of your target audience, you won’t be able to squeeze in.
Imagine the other end of the spectrum. Everything else is lacking: You have an OK, but not great idea, a business model with a few holes, a few dedicated people who don’t know exactly what they’re doing and barely enough funding to keep the lights on. But your release is timed perfectly. People have a strong need for your idea and they’re ready for it, but you’ve come along before anybody else has.
You could expect to see strong initial sales, which can help you flesh out your business model and provide you enough cash to negate your funding issue. At that point, you’d be able to hire a better team, and eventually, your idea will evolve and get better with the support of your users.
Timing can’t be ignored, and it can’t be substituted just by paying more attention to the other elements of your business. Certainly, having a good idea, business model, team and available capital can all increase your chances of success, but without that critical timing factor, you’llinevitably end up failing -- or at least struggling.
The biggest downside to this is that there’s no scientific process for determining the timing of your idea. You can use market research to figure out the personas of your target demographics, and competitive research to see what your competition is like, but for the most part, timing comes down to a gut feeling and a little bit of luck.

Why RO water purifier in the kitchen( Domestic 10 LPH Reverse Osmosis ) ???

There are advantages and disadvantages in every technology.

CASE STUDY: NEW DELHI.
The area where I stay in New Delhi,India, the ground water is contaminated because of Dirty Yamuna River flowing nearby. And there is no piped water from Govt. The only option for drinking is Domestic RO (10 LPH) at home or the 20 liter JAR supplied by PRIVATE water companies. And for all other purposes ,people are installing water softener in the bore well water..If they dont use water softener, then the domestic RO membrane gets damaged and is to be changed twice a year.

RO is the only technology which can remove Bacteria, Iron, fluoride, Arsenic and other chemical contaminants. Arsenic and other heavy metals in well water is one of the most dangerous aspects of drinking well water. So you should have a fail safe water purifier system for Arsenic by installing a Point of Use - RO water purifier in the kitchen where water for drinking and cooking is taken.Reverse Osmosis is though expensive, is available as domestic filter. Once the membrane is clogged, it cant filter water anymore, so you always get pure water. This is not so with any other technology.

What is the desirable quality of drinking water?
As per the Bureau of Indian Standards, the desirable quality of drinking water is that which has TDS (Total Dissolved Salts) content of 500 ppm or less (ppm stands for parts of the salt present in a million parts of water). Where water of this quality is not easily available, the compromise level is water having upto 2000 ppm.
It is to be borne in mind that in some places, iron salts may be present and if the content of iron salts is more than the permissible 0.4ppm, even if the total salt content is less than the desired level, the iron salts will have to be removed before drinking that water. There are also some pockets West Bengal and U.P. where the water contains Arsenic. This is poisonous and so here also the same rule applies. In some pockets again, fluoride salts may be present which affect the bones if that water is drunk. Using this water for non-potable purposes is however not harmful.
Another point to be remembered is that water with very low salt content is not very palatable and therefore where the total salt content is less than 500, reducing it to 10 or 20 by RO is not only meaningless from the point of view of wastage of water but also from the cost and loss of palatability aspects. In cases where the salt content is not much higher than 2000 ppm, a simpler route would be to harvest rainwater which will dilute the salts and bring it within potable limits progressively.

What is the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Process?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology has been used for years in various industries to separate dissolved solids from water by forcing the water through a semi-permeable membrane. RO is also commonly used to purify drinking water and desalinate seawater to yield potable water. The water and other molecules with lower molecular weight (specific weight of molecules allowed to pass through is dependent on the selected membrane) pass through the micropores in the membrane, yielding a purified water stream called the permeate. Larger molecules are retained by the membrane as well as a portion of the water that does not pass through the membrane. This concentrated stream is called the concentrate or RO reject.

REVERSE OSMOSIS PERCENT REJECTION CALCULATOR    http://www.apswater.com/calcs.asp

While RO is an effective method for handling wastewater, what to do with the concentrate or reject water (typically as much as 20-40% of the RO feed water volume) can be an issue. Specifically, the high salinity in RO reject / RO concentrate can make it prohibitive for discharge to a local sewer facility. Hauling the wastewater to a treatment facility can also be prohibitively expensive.

What can we do with the RO reject water?
In RO systems of small capacity suitable for domestic purposes, the rejected component may be as high as 40%. The process therefore is a wasteful one with much of the water having to be thrown away.
Diverting large volumes of this highly salty water into the sewage line could result in acting against the smooth movement of its contents. The reject will not be tolerated by normal garden plants. It will form deposits on the floor and sanitary ware. It is also not advisable to divert it to the septic tank.
If the water subjected to RO has less than 1000 ppm say, then the salt content in the reject water will not be much and it can be used for gardening or flushing. But the point is that this water need not be subjected to RO at all in the first place.
In Industries, we treat RO Reject by Solar evaporation or Forced evaporation.
evaporation is a time-tested methodology for reducing the water portion of water-based waste.
Typical RO reject / RO concentrate TDS concentrations are often in the range of 30,000 – 50,000 mg/liter. The salts in solution can range from highly soluble sodium and potassium salts to less soluble or reverse soluble calcium and barium salts.

INDEPENDENCE DAY....FIRST FATWA AGAINST THE BRITISH RULE IN INDIA

I was ignorant.Today before Jumma Khutba, Imam saheb told us about the FIRST FATWA AGAINST THE BRITISH RULE IN INDIA.

In 1803, the British captured Delhi and set up the rule of the East India Company, declaring ’people belong to God, country to the King and administration to the Company Bahadur’.
The common talk in Delhi at that time was, "the writ of Shah Alam does not run beyond Palam”.

At that time Shah Abdul Aziz Dehlavi (1703-1823), the son of Shah Waliullah Dehlavi, issued the first Fatwa against the British rule that proclaimed, "Our country has been enslaved. To struggle for independence and put an end to the slavery is our duty”.

With this proclamation of Shah Abdul Aziz Dehlavi, the long drawn India ’s freedom struggle got a new momentum.

SYED AHMAD SHAHEED
Ulama under the leadership of Syed Ahmad (1786-1831), the great martyr of Rai Bareli of UP took the task of executing the edict of Shah Abdul Aziz.

Ulama, thereafter, became the main target of the British oppression and persecution. The word ‘Maulvi’ was synonymous to ’rebel’ in the British eyes. Out of approximately 200,000 people martyred during the revolt, more than 51,200 were Ulama. Edward Timus admitted that in Delhi alone 500 Ulama were hanged to death.

BIRTH OF DARUL ULOOM DEOBAND

After the defeat of 1857, some of the prominent Muslim leaders of the freedom movement found it very hard to save India from the cultural onslaught of the British. To counter the nefarious British plan to enslave India culturally, they planned to establish a revolutionary institution that would impart knowledge as well as enthuse fervour among student

The Reshmi Rumal Movement was an Indian armed movement that planned to declare war against the British empire in the early 20th century.
During British rule in second decade of the 20th century, Maulana Mehmood ul Hasan and his team planned to bring a revolution against the British Empire. Their plan was to motivate Indian youth and train them. A large number of youth and his students joined this movement. The key leaders of that movement were Maulana Husain Ahmad Madni, Maulana Shah Raheem Raipuri, Maulana Ubaidullah Sindhi, Maulana Muhammad Sadik from khadda and Maulana Muhammad Mian Mansoor Ansari.

How important are the blood relations?

source of article: http://www.quranandhadith.com/blood-relations-2/

How important are the blood relations? Have we ever thought about it? If a Muslim knows the importance Allah has given to blood relations, never shall any of us dare to do any injustice (in any form) to the relations. Allah says:
O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam) and from him he created his wife (Hawwa), and from both them both He created many men & women; and fear Allah through Whom you demand, and (do not cut the relations of) womb (kinship, blood relations). Surely Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you.”
(Aayah no. 1, Surah An-Nisa’, Chapter No. 4, Holy Qur’an).
The verse says…. fear Allah through Whom you demand and the womb…. The message is that if we fear Allah, we have to maintain good relations with our relatives. Therefore, Sila-e-rahmi (i.e. keeping good relations with blood relatives) is an order from Allah, not a recommendation, and it is mandatory for every Muslim to comply with this order.
It is not all, there are much more details, which we shall talk about in due course of our discussion. To start with, let us discuss some specific details under different sub-headings concerning the subject.
1. Who are these blood relatives?
The first place among the blood relatives is reserved for parents. No one among the relatives equals them in the status given to them by Allah. The details regarding status of parents in Islam are so much that it is not good to discuss them as a sub-heading. So, Insha’Allah we shall talk in detail about them in a separate discussion.
After parents, other blood relations are off-springs, brothers, sisters, paternal uncles and aunts, their off-springs (i.e. first cousins from paternal side), maternal uncles and aunts, their off-springs (i.e. first cousins from maternal side) and then other relatives as well. Spouses do not categorize under blood relations.
How can we help our relatives?
It can be done in various ways:
2.1. By visiting them
2.2. Spending money on relatives
2.3. Helping them emotionally and physically
Our kids, our siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins, all of them command their haq from us, the haqfor love, haq for respect, haq for togetherness, haq for help, haq for share, haq for care etc. Our blood relations are a part of our lives; there is no way that we ignore them if we aspire to be inmates of Paradise.
Be united. Live happily in harmony and peace.
And Allah knows best.

8 Islamic Tips To Deal With Stress

Stress is a common problem in today's Materialistic and fast life where everyone is busy and running behind money and caring more about feeding the body instead of feeding the soul. despite having everything people are finding it hard to find real happiness and stay away from stress. In this article I will share some Islamic tips that will help you to get rid of stress and start feeling happy and calm.

1 Start Praying If you don't pray: Believe me the peace and satisfaction that you will find in offering Salah and doing Zikr is not present in any other thing. When you will start offering Salah regularly and do Zikr of Allah SWT it will take you away from stress.

2 Be grateful for what you have: start thanking Allah SWT for what you already have instead of worrying about what you don't have. start counting your blessings everyday. that will give you great joy. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has taught us to see towards that person who has less money than us instead of seeing towards those who are more richer. doing so will make us appreciate what we have.

3 Care more about hereafter instead of this world: Remember your real destination is hereafter and you are in this world temporarily for a test. this will bring a great change in you.

4 Stop comparing yourself with others: If you are comparing yourself with others you are taking yourself towards stress and you are also insulting yourself. you don't need to compare yourself with other people in anyway.

5 Keep less expectations from others: Often we keep high expectations from other people and when they don't fulfill them we get hurt. so you don't need to expect much from others.

6 Exercise and walk daily: this is a great tip to find stress keeping yourself active physically. doing exercise and walk helps us in many ways Including Improving our health, confidence and ending stress.

7 Read Holy Quran With Translation: start reading the Book of Allah SWT with translation and understanding. that will bring positive change in you.

8 Involve in welfare activities: Get yourself involved in activities of helping other people. that will greatly help you.

Who is Allah (GOD) in Islam

Source http://www.islam44.net/2015/07/islams-concept-of-god-is-simple-and.html?utm_source=BP_recent

Islam's Concept of God Is Simple and Logical

In all the major religions of the World its necessary to believe in God but the concept of God in every religion is different. for example In Hinduism there are uncountable number of Gods and Idols of these Gods are worshiped. In Christianity Father, Son and Holy Spirit all three are part of God. in Buddhism Budha is God. Now lets see the concept of God In Islam.

In Islam God Is one and only who cannot be seen with human eye. He is creator of everything. Islamic concept of God Is really simple and logical as compared to other religions concept of God which is very confusing. Surah Ikhlas of Holy Quran gives perfect concept of God In Islam. lets have a look.
Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One, Allah , the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
The same concept of God was presented by all the Prophets Including Jesus, Moses, Adam, Ibrahim and Muhammad Peace Be upon them all.

Interestingly the concept of Oneness of God even exists in books of other religions like Hinduism and Christianity but with time humans corrupted these religions and their beliefs. for example Hindu scripture [Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1] says "He is One only without a second."

Similarly in Bible [The Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4] it is said "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord".

So Islamic concept of God also exists in other religious scriptures. all of us Muslims should try to give Dawah to non muslims towards this message of Tauheed.

Rain water Harvesting System

Rain water Harvesting System

Broadly rainwater can be harvested for two purposes
Storing rainwater for ready use in containers above or below ground
Charged into the soil for withdrawal later (groundwater recharging)

Source: A Water Harvesting Manual For Urban Areas

From where to harvest rain

Rainwater harvesting can be harvested from the following surfaces

Rooftops: If buildings with impervious roofs are already in place, the catchment area is effectively available free of charge and they provide a supply at the point of consumption.
Paved and unpaved areas i.e., landscapes, open fields, parks, stormwater drains, roads and pavements and other open areas can be effectively used to harvest the runoff. The main advantage in using ground as collecting surface is that water can be collected from a larger area. This is particularly advantageous in areas of low rainfall.

Waterbodies: The potential of lakes, tanks and ponds to store rainwater is immense. The harvested rainwater can not only be used to meet water requirements of the city, it also recharges groundwater aquifers.
Stormwater drains: Most of the residential colonies have proper network of stormwater drains. If maintained neatly, these offer a simple and cost effective means for harvesting rainwater.

Whether to store rainwater or use it for recharge:

The decision whether to store or recharge water depends on the rainfall pattern and the potential to do so, in a particular region. The sub-surface geology also plays an important role in making this decision.

For example, Delhi, Rajasthan and Gujarat where the total annual rainfall occurs during 3 or 4 months, are examples of places where groundwater recharge is usually practiced. In places like Kerala, Mizoram, Tamil Nadu and Bangalore where rain falls throughout the year barring a few dry periods, one can depend on a small sized tank for storing rainwater, since the period between two spells of rain is short. Wherever sub-strata is impermeable recharging will not be feasible. Hence, it would be ideal to opt for storage.

Source: A Water Harvesting Manual For Urban Areas
In places where the groundwater is saline or not of potable standards, the alternate system could be that of storing rainwater.

Beyond generalisations, it is the requirement that governs the choice of water harvesting technique. For example, in Ahemadabad, which has limited number of rainy days as that of Delhi, traditional rainwater harvesting tanks, known as tankas, are used to store rainwater even today in residential areas, temples and hotels
